“Unique urban high street garden centre, making gardening more accessible for the local community. Offering great service, great quality and free local delivery.”

The garden shop was opened in April 2010 with an aim to offer everything a large garden centre has, but on a smaller scale, to make it easier to shop. Our type of shop hasn’t existed until now, a garden centre on a high street?? How can that work? You might ask. Well we’re bigger than we look! And have a large plant area at the rear, with everything you need, plants, pots, compost, trellis and more! We offer FREE local delivery, so shopping couldn’t be more hassle free. We want to make gardening easy. We want to change people’s idea that you have to be ‘green fingered’ to be good at gardening or have a big outside space. You really don’t. With the right tools and advice anyone can create a beautiful garden, big or small.

Articles Placed Anywhere

After working within garden centres as a plant area assistant for about 6 years I was thrilled when Tony approached me to join forces to help run The Garden Shop Hornsey as it is a much more challenging and exciting role. I have two passions plants and people. I believe in offering excellent professional advice and good quality plants at a reasonable price. I really want to create an urban boutique oasis in the middle of a bustling North London high street.
Working with schools and the community is also something I strongly believe in, by offering discounts to schools and local community projects and giving free advice to get things off the ground is a great way we hope to gain loyal relationships within the local community.
So I look forward to bringing you a great selection of plants, lifestyle & giftware in the hope to inspire!
